Nestled in the heart of the up-and-coming North Austin neighborhood, Burnet Road is a 20-story residential apartment building targeted for the young professional. At 423 units, this property offers a mix of studio, 1-bedroom, 2-bedroom, and 2-bedroom+ penthouse layouts.
Trammel Crow aimed to make their new property stand out by not only checking the boxes of provided amenities (sauna, rooftop pool, large fitness center, golf simulator, etc.), but by also bringing a few new ones to the table. The fifth floor boasts an expansive rooftop terrace which includes a large pool deck, and incredible views to the Q2 stadium, but also a unique, organically shaped park complete with meandering walking paths, which ebb and flow to create smaller, private vignettes for entertaining, or enjoying solo. This connection to nature was vital to the project and became a running thread connecting many aspects of the design, as well as cemented the aspirations for LEED certification.
Burnet Road embraces the cross section of the polished sleek built environment with the natural, rich, and textural landscape of Austin. Weathered and natural materials are placed side by side modern and clean lined details to celebrate the authenticity of Austin, and the streamlined surrounding architecture at the Domain. The interior and exterior of Burnet Road connect to celebrate a mix of light and airy natural materials with mixed metals, masonry and glass. ESG’s design is connected to the neighborhood, tied to Austin textures and landscape, and introduces something fresh and inspired.
